Construction 2 (TEE2185)
Grade 10-12. One semester. This advanced course is designed for students who have successfully completed Intro to Construction and are interested in expanding their skills in the construction industry. The course covers phases of residential construction after framing, including interior and exterior finish carpentry, wiring, plumbing, insulation, drywall, and final installations. Students will also explore apprenticeship and career opportunities in various construction trades. Safe practices in the use of hand tools and power tools in the industry will continue to be emphasized. A lab fee will be charged.
